West Hendred has allotments in Ginge Road behind Goldbury Cottages.

The allotments are owned by the Vale Housing Association and vacant plots can be rented directly from them.

The West Hendred Parish Council is a non-for-profit governmental body looking after the needs of local Parishoners.

West Hendred is located in South Oxfordshire, about three miles from the town of Wantage.

West Hendred has excellent transport links, situated very close to the A34 and M4 motorways and has a regular bus service.

East Hendred is West Hendred's sister village.
