If you tried to view the site within the last few days, you probably noticed it wasn’t there.

Digital Switch Over

Digital Switchover is scheduled for West Hendred in two stages.

On 14th September BBC2 analogue will be switched off. You’ll need to re-tune your digital equipment to pick up the available channels.

On 28th September the remaining analogue channels will be switched off. You’ll need to re-tune your digital equipment again to pick up additional channels.

The Royal Wedding

To celebrate the Royal Wedding West Hendred Parish Council will be presenting a commemorative mug to each child resident in the village aged 16 years or under.

Would all parents please register their details with the Clerk so that the correct number of mugs can be allocated to each family. The clerk needs to know your address, family name and the number of mugs required.

Please email your registration details to the clerk at parishcouncilclerk@westhendred.net.

A collection point for the mugs will be established, probably at the village hall. Details of this will be sent out to all registered families and posted on The Greenway notice board once finalised.

Parish Council Elections

All Parish councillors retire this year and must be re-nominated. Should anyone else wish to stand for West Hendred Parish Council please contact the Clerk for a Nomination pack. Completed Nomination packs MUST be returned to the Clerk by 31st March 2011.

Seen this recently?

During some recent updates to the site, it got a bit confused.

When clicking on some documents on the site, they would show a 404 not found error.

The problem has now been solved, and all documents are now available.
