West Hendred Parish Council operates on a small budget, keeping approx. 1 years precept as reserves. It has no borrowing or Standing Orders.

Councillors work on a voluntary basis and do not claim any allowances or expenses.

The West Hendred Parish Council is a non-for-profit governmental body looking after the needs of local Parishoners.

West Hendred is located in South Oxfordshire, about three miles from the town of Wantage.

West Hendred has excellent transport links, situated very close to the A34 and M4 motorways and has a regular bus service.

East Hendred is West Hendred's sister village.
